CURRICULARIZAÇÃO DA EXTENSÃO NA MODALIDADE EAD PARA PREVENÇÃO DE RISCOS E DESASTRES

Abstract

The frequent occurrence of extreme weather events around the world has contributed to the Risk and Disaster Prevention movement being in evidence, making this an eminent research trend and increasingly present in databases of scientific journals. The lack of a Risk and Disaster Prevention Culture in educational spaces, and in general in Brazil, justifies the creation of actions and pedagogical materials that help the growth of the movement. The specific production of didactic and paradidactic materials, in the format of MOOC courses (Massive Open Online Courses), paradidactic materials in ebook format, for educators, children and adolescents of Basic Education, is what has been carried out by the Santa Catarina State University (UDESC) in actions that aim to carry out continuing education of educators in relation to the theme of Risk and Disaster Prevention, with support from activities linked to the Extension Curricularization process that has been put into practice in the country. The methodology used is the construction of materials of an interdisciplinary nature, bringing together professionals from different areas of knowledge to create virtual learning environments, production of scientific articles and material in ebook format to disseminate the culture of risk and disaster prevention. By involving University Extension actions, strengthened with the Extension Curricularization, the UDESC has been working with the training of Basic Education teachers and those interested in the study of extreme weather events, contributing to Risk and Disaster Prevention being present in all educational spaces, presenting possibilities with the support of Distance Learning resources.

Author Biographies

Eduardo Jara, Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina

Graduado em Licenciatura Plena em Matemática pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2002), Mestre em Ensino de Matemática (2008/UFRGS), e Doutor em Administração pela ESAG/UDESC, com Tese sobre Ensino de Empreendedorismo para Crianças (2021). Atualmente é professor da área de Métodos Quantitativos, nos cursos de Administração Empresarial e de Administração Pública da ESAG/UDESC, ministrando disciplinas de Matemática, Métodos Estatísticos e de Análise Estatística. Pesquisador do grupo NISP (Núcleo de Inovações Sociais na Esfera Pública) atuando na área de análise estatística e aplicações. Vencedor do Prêmio Nacional Santander Práticas de Educação para Sustentabilidade (2012) Contemplado com o Prêmio Stemmer de Inovação Catarinense na categoria Protagonista da Inovação 2017,  vencedor do Prêmio Sebrae de Educação Empreendedora 2021, eleito Professor mais criativo do Brasil na Categoria Ensino Superior pelo Prêmio Perestroika 2022. Finalista Prêmio Stemmer Professor Inovador de Santa Catarina, 2023. Coordenador do Programa de Extensão Esag Kids e Coordenador de Extensão da UDESC.

Felipe Eugenio Kich Gontijo, Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina

Doutor em Engenharia de Produção pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2003) Mestre em Engenharia de Produção pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1997) e graduado em Engenharia Mecânica pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1993). Atualmente é professor efetivo e coordenado de estágios na Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina, na ESAG. Atua nas áreas de Logística Empresarial, Gerenciamento de Cadeias de Suprimentos, Logística Humanitária e Logística Reversa.

Tania da Silveira Foletto, Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina

Tânia da Silveira Foletto, graduada em Matemática com habilitação em Física pela Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e "Imaculada Conceição" em 1989. Pós-graduada em Estatística e Modelagem Quantitativa pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria em 1996. Atualmente, Funcionária Pública Estadual da Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (2005), lotada na Pró-reitoria de Extensão, Cultura e Comunidade (PROEX) desde 2014. Professora Tutora no Centro de Educação a Distância CEAD/UDESC com bolsa CAPES (2016/2017). Membro do Grupo Coordenado em Gestão de Riscos e Desastres (CEPED/UDESC) e do Núcleo Extensionista Rondon (NER/UDESC), ambos vinculados a Proex.

Júlia Rocha dos Santos, Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina

Júlia Rocha dos Santos, graduanda do curso de Administração Pública na Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (UDESC/Esag). Atualmente exerce função de estagiária no Tribunal de Justiça (TJSC) e de bolsista do Programa de Extensão Esag Kids coordenado pelo professor Eduardo Jara. Anteriormente Júlia também atuou como bolsista de extensão do Observatório de Inovação Social de Florianópolis (OBISF) e estagiou no Ministério Público Federal (MPF).
