RENAFOR PROJECT: THE DRIVING CHALLENGE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MOOC PRODUCTION METHODOLOGY

UFPR Aberta (Moodle) was conceived as an open virtual learning environment (VLE) accessible to society, aligning with UFPR's mission of disseminating scientific knowledge to enhance social and economic development. Through UFPR's partnership in the National Continuous Teacher Training Network Program (RENAFOR), the creation of 9 MOOC courses aimed at the ongoing professional development of Basic Education teachers was envisioned. The purpose of this experiential report is to share the methodology for content production developed by the team at the Laboratory of Production within the Coordination of Distance Education Policy Integration (LabCIPEAD) for MOOC courses. To achieve this, the report provides context for the conducive and driving factors behind the demand for producing the 9 MOOCs and subsequently details the digital tool used, along with the planning, production, and implementation stages of the MOOC courses on the UFPR Aberta platform. As a result of this experience, the methodology developed in the RENAFOR Project has been expanded to encompass all MOOC production activities at LabCIPEAD. This adoption enhances LabCIPEAD's practices and the quality of Open Education promoted by UFPR, in alignment with the university's mission and the sustainable goals of the UN.
