. This article aimed to trace some reflections on digital education in the contemporary context, specifically understanding the pedagogical possibilities of using digital platforms in the processes of teaching and learning. Through the Application Programming Interface (API), Chat GPT, offered by OpenAI, a language model based on artificial intelligence, the impacts of technology on educational processes and how this tool can contribute to the pedagogical practice in the daily life of the teacher were explored. In this sense, a bibliographic review was conducted to explore the landscape of dialogues and discussions about Artificial Intelligence and its integration into education. It was observed that the use of Chat GPT can provide benefits such as teaching support, intelligent tutoring, and more dynamic interaction between students and teachers. However, the importance of a balanced and ethical approach to ensure the success of its implementation was also highlighted. Finally, some considerations were presented regarding the possibilities of using Chat GPT by both teachers and students in pedagogical processes. It is considered that this tool, combined with innovative pedagogical practices, can enrich the learning environment and prepare students for the challenges of the digital society.
