A DEMAND STUDY OF THE STATE FORUM OF THE UAB POLES OF PERNAMBUCO

With the need to elaborate a qualified Demand Study, this article aims to present two moments used in the preparation of a demand study carried out by the EaD UAB Poles Coordinators, mediated by the State Forum of UAB Poles of Pernambuco, in the second half of 2021 The study focused on meeting goals 15 and 16 of the National Education Plan - PNE Law No. 13,005/2014, which determines guidelines, goals and strategies for educational policy in the period from 2014 to 2024, in addition to the guidelines of the Directorate of Distance Education/CAPES in the coordination processes between Public Higher Education Institutions and the UAB Distance Learning Poles for new offers of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the UAB System. The moments covered summarize the delimitation of territorial coverage, having as a database the reading, interpretation and cutting of data from the 2020 Census. Using a discourse genre approach, the procedures that took place and the needs for continued training for the execution, in addition to the limiting points presented by the EaD UAB Poles Coordinators. The need for systematic training in relation to the preparation of a qualified demand study was evident, to better target course offerings, seeking to identify the regions that require more attention and achieve the goals mentioned in the PNE.
