DIGITAL SKILLS IN E HIGHER EDUCATION
DIAGNOSIS AND TEACHER TRAINING

This article is the result of a study on the digital skills of Higher Education teachers at Universidade Federal da Bahia – UFBA, and its consequences in a training policy for teachers. This is a research with a qualitative approach and methodologically characterized as descriptive and exploratory. For data collection, a questionnaire based on the DigCompEdu framework (Digital Competence Framework for Educators), developed by the European Union and validated by Dias-Trindade, Moreira and Nunes (2019), was used. It was concluded that the inputs raised on digital competences for teaching-learning efficiently subsidize a policy of continuing education for university professors, such as the offer of learning trails on educational technologies applied by University X, and that favored their incorporation into the university pedagogical practice.
