Abstract

Distance Education - DE has been widely expanding worldwide, providing access to teaching and learning to individuals who otherwise would not have had this opportunity. In the far north of Brazil, specifically in Roraima, where energy and internet infrastructure is precarious and unstable, the implementation of DE in agrotechnical and urban campuses presents unique challenges. This account aims to describe the experiences encountered in the management and aspects of teaching and learning in DE within this context.
